On the spool is 1 kg Red filament in 2.85 mm diameter. Printing this filament requires a heated bed at about 65 degrees and less cooling than regular PETG. A 3d print at normal speeds prints best around 245 degrees, slower or faster printing speeds may need tweaking the temperature just slightly.

PETG is great for beginners and novices alike, as it is easy to print and a sweet balance between printability and strong prints. The base material is very clear, so the neutral version delivers semi-transparent results. Within the Real brand we also have PETG available in translucent colors. As the print temperature is higher, the temperature resistance of the print is higher than other materials. If you experience (much) stringing, it is recommended to try a higher temperature. PET-G (Polyethyleentereftalaatglycol) is a very strong, water resistant thermoplastic, with beautiful shiny result. PET is a well known plastic, as it's mostly used in production of soda bottles. In recent years this material has become a very popular material for 3D printing as it combines a number of great properties of both ABS and PLA. Printing with PETG is almost as easy as PLA and requires little more effort. As the bonding with itself is very strong, the first layer should be squished as much as PLA, as the material may blob around the nozzle ruining your print. The layer adhesion is great, making the end result very strong, and bendable instead of breakable as opposed to PLA. PETG doesn't adhere very well to other materials, as glue doesn't have much grip on the material. Another great property of PETG is that the neutral pallets are almost glass like transparent, giving us the opportunity to deliver awesome translucent colors. PET-G can be printed with or without heated bed with little to no warping, using 3DLAC, We recommend using a 65 degrees heated bed however, as the print will come loose automatically when cooling down. Generally you need a heated bed to print with ABS and a heated chamber is preferred. In the Real filament ABS line, there are also ABS plus and Pro available, which make it easier to print. The ABS is a pure base material, optimized for 3D printing, giving the best performance possible. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) filament has been in use for 3D printing for a long time. It used to be the most popular 3D print material, but due to the properties of ABS including high shrinkage it's hard to work with. Compared to other materials ABS still has some advantages including that its gasoline resistant, non-translucent and a soft bendable thermoplastic. Also compared to PLA it has a much higher glass transition point. ABS is an oil based product, making it less environmentally friendly than PLA is, and while printing it tends to give a bad chemical smell, so you probably want to use this in well ventilated conditions. This filament will require more effort to print well. If you are using ABS to print small strong parts, you may get away with just using 3DLAC on a 65-80 degrees heated bed. Kapton tape is another product where ABS will print on, but it will require a higher temperatures around 110 degrees. For extruding the filament we recommend a temperature of 245 degrees, although it may extrude as low as 220 degrees, the layer bonding won't be as strong. For larger prints you should look into PETG filament first, without a heated chamber you will not be able to print this material without warping and cracking.
